WEEK 38

**NEW** The Feed

In the near future, people’s brains are directly connected to The Feed. Every interaction, every emotion, every memory can be shared in an instant.

Tom’s father invented The Feed, but Tom’s relationship with his family and the technology that they sold to the world is complicated. When the Head of The Feed’s Moscow Hub, Dmitri Garin, is reported missing Lawrence must call upon Tom’s help. Lawrence asks Tom to go to Russia and speak to Dmitri’s son, Anton, the last person to see his father alive. When Tom meets Anton he is alarmed to find that Anton has gouged his own eye out and has little memory of what happened the day his father went missing. Tom must convince the boy to let him access his Feed and find out what really happened that day.

Meanwhile Tom’s wife Kate struggles with the pregnancy of her first child. Worried that she lacks maternal instinct, Tom’s mum, Meredith, seemingly throws her a lifeline when she explains how The Feed could help. Previously wary of The Feed, Kates starts to heavily rely upon it and finds the ability to feel connected to her unborn child invaluable.

But when it seems that something strange and violent is happening to The Feed Tom must question how safe society, and his family, are from the technology they have so blindly embraced.

Celebrity MasterChef

Week 3

Monday 16th September at 9pm TX7

Celebrity MasterChef returns for its fourteenth series, with 20 familiar faces from the world of show business and music, all hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s champion John Partridge and take the 2019 title.

The hunt continues in this third heat week as five new celebrities take on the challenge to become the Celebrity MasterChef Champion. Trying to impress judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace this week are radio and TV presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams, legendary Motown singer Martha Reeves, Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford MBE, actor Elizabeth Bourgine and heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte.

The first challenge for the five hopefuls is an Invention Test; the infamous test of imagination and creativity. The contestants are all given a mincer and a burger press and are tasked with making just one dish – a burger and fries- of their own design. Ingredients to choose from include tuna, mackerel, beef chuck, pork belly, lamb shoulder and turkey breast. With nerves running high and just fifty minutes to create something from scratch, the celebrities must think on their feet to impress the judges.

The celebrities are then split into two groups to take on the challenge of cooking for the first time in a restaurant kitchen, preparing dishes for paying customers.

Rickie, Dillian and Elizabeth head to Bokan, a modern European restaurant in London’s Canary Wharf, while Greg and Martha are sent to Kriket which specializes in contemporary Indian cuisine.

In the final test of culinary creativity, it’s back to the MasterChef kitchen, as the contestants are asked to prepare a dish of their own design in just one hour. The celebrities work furiously in a last attempt to prove themselves to the judges, because at the end of this test one of them will be going home.

Wednesday 18th September at 8pm TX8

Celebrity MasterChef returns for its fourteenth series, with 20 familiar faces from the world of show business and music all hoping to take the 2019 title.

This week’s heat continues with the four remaining celebrities facing two more culinary challenges, as they battle for a place in the Semi-Finals.

The Pairs Challenge returns in tonight’s first round where the four celebrities are split into two teams of two, in a test of teamwork and communication. Each team is tasked with cooking the same dish. Both plates must be identical in both appearance and flavour, but there is a catch. In-between each pair there is a wall. The only way for the celebrities to successfully produce identical plates in both flavour and appearance is by communicating with their team mate through the wall.

The celebrities are then sent out on their first mass catering challenge. Working in teams once again they will have to make lunch for over 100 pupils at the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson school in North London.

With an array of ingredients including chicken, beef mince and pasta as well as a range of fruit and vegetables, the two teams must devise, prepare and serve the lunch, catering for various tastes, creating meat based, vegetarian and dessert dishes in volume. In the heat of the kitchen the celebrities will have to rely on teamwork skills as well as their culinary ones to triumph.

Friday 20th September at 9pm TX9

Celebrity MasterChef returns for its fourteenth series, with 20 familiar faces from the world of fashion, sport, show business and music all hoping to take the 2019 title.

Tonight the battle for a semi-final place reaches its climax. The four celebrities must now cook a faultless two course meal that will not only be judged by John and Gregg, but also three Celebrity MasterChef champions - Lisa Faulkner (2010), Kimberley Wyatt (2015) and Ade Edmonson  (2013), all former survivors of this tough challenge.

With their last chance to impress for a semi-final place, emotions in the kitchen are running high, and the pressure proves too much for some contestants. The celebrity judges deliver some frank and cutting responses to some of the dishes, but others fare much better.

Only the best two contestants can earn a semi-final place and come one step closer to winning the title of Celebrity MasterChef 2019. For those who don’t make the grade, the journey ends here.

Train Truckers

This episode follows truck crews transport a massive railway crane and classic locomotive across the country. Heavy haulage experts Ian Bagladi and Jamie Turnbull need to move a classical but abandoned 63 year old, 70 tonne locomotive, through the English countryside, for her headline show at the world renowned Great Dorset Steam Fair. The team will have to navigate narrow country lanes, scale up monstrous rural hills and fend off typical British traffic to ensure she has her big moment. Can the train truckers haul this locomotive to the steam fair in time for her Grande Parade?

Elsewhere Hauling veterans Terry Savoury and Zak Bancroft must transport a 120 tonne, 1940s retired rail crane, 430 miles south to the seaside town of Margate to start her new life as a classical museum exhibit. Unable to fit on one truck, this railway mega machine must endure heavy storms, an overnight stay in the cold and a complicated dismount into her new home.  Can this team of train trucking specialists deliver both sections of this vintage relic to the museum, on time and undamaged so the public can benefit from her beauty for many years to come. A huge task for the worlds toughest train truckers.
